Agriturismo

WITH POOL AND WELLNESS CENTER

Tuscan hospitality par excellence

for holidays devoted to your relaxation and well-being

We are in Tuscany, in the province of Siena; Montepulciano is just 4 km away. Sanguineto offers a magnificent view over the Val di Chiana, Umbria, which is just a stone’s throw away, stretching as far as Lake Trasimeno and the Umbrian-Marchigian Apennines. Sanguineto is open all year round and its location, amidst age-old olive groves and the vineyards where the famous Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG (the first Italian wine to have been awarded this quality mark) and Vin Santo DOC are cultivated, is what makes it so perfect. Then, of course, there’s the added value of the meticulous care and attention that we devote to our guests and their needs.

The Suites and Private SPA

The Suites and Private SPA Relaxation and Well-being in a 19th-century Farmhouse

The original structure of Agriturismo Sanguineto is an old farmhouse, records of which date back to 1840, but which is almost certainly much older. A few years ago, Sanguineto was returned to renewed splendour with the utmost respect for the rural architecture of the Val di Chiana Senese, making it the ideal place to uphold the tradition for hospitality that has made this part of Tuscany famous all over the world.

The suites, furnished in perfect Tuscan style, the swimming pool, with jacuzzi, looking out onto views of breathtaking beauty, the private SPA, to regain the perfect psychological and physical balance in a natural way: everything has been conceived, designed and created so that the holiday is truly a moment of rest, to take a break from routine.

The Territory

Jewels of art and beauty

And when you decide to get to know our world better, in the immediate vicinity – in some cases, just a few kilometres away – there are some absolute jewels of art and beauty: Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia… to name but a few. Though perhaps the most precious jewel is the surrounding landscape in its entirety, with the Val d’Orcia, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the Val di Chiana and an extraordinary heritage of small villages, lakes and hills. Wherever you look there is something to admire, to taste, to discover, to get excited about and of which to take home an infinite number of wonderful memories and reasons to return.
